Program Overview
3 Phase Winter Cleanse Program Overview
For the duration of this cleanse program, you have an opportunity to reset your habits and restore your connection to the regenerative potential of your body. Here are some key concepts to commit to throughout the program:
- Rest - 8 hours per every 24 hour cycle minimum sleep time, 1 additional hour relaxation. Meditation counts for relaxation and sometime sleep!
- Hydrate - Warm tea and room temperature water and drinks are an important way to keep yourself well in the dry, cold season. You'll get plenty of new ideas with this plan.
- Nourish - Eat only when you are hungry. If you feel you should eat but you are not hungry, use nourishing drinks instead. While this program will emphasis some nutritional shifts, generally focus on enhancing metabolism with easy digestion. Consume products that you would expect to nourish another living creature; eating whole foods, organic and local production is key for this to be effective.
- Patience - The cold contraction of this season teaches us to be patient, slow down and like the seeds under the frozen ground we must wait for the right time for growth to occur. Otherwise if we move hastily or premature we will not have the resources we need for our growth to be powerful and effective.
- Be in nature - Use this time to truly connect to nature. Be outdoors daily and let your curiosity guide you, as if you are the wild animal of the world let your senses come alive and listen to what nature can teach you.
